PRICE PROMISE
Qarpentri guarantees the prices in this proposal for a period of 1 month. The prices may vary if your order is booked beyond this date. Quoted prices are applicable for this proposal only. Any modifications due to site validation, dimensions and / or a change in requirement may result in a change of price.
TAXES AND DUTIES
All Qarpentri product pricing is inclusive of taxes.
PAYMENT
An order is considered confirmed only on receiving payment of the full order value.
MATERIAL DELIVERY
Your order will be delivered on or before the assured delivery date which is 15 working days for Bangalore from the date of receipt of full payment. For all other cities, the material delivery date would be 21 working days. Qarpentri is not responsible for any delay in project implementation due to third party vendors, force majeure or for reasons beyond its control.
INSTALLATION
The project would be ready to move in within 7 working days after the delivery. This timeline could extend in case there are snags or defects identified during project execution. Once deemed ready to move in, any pending minor snags will be rectified within 15 working days, before the project is completely handed over. This is also dependent on the site being ready for installation, with required permit, access, power supply etc.
As part of regular cleaning, our team will remove the plastic covers, stickers, and gum & wipe the installed furniture clean. Deep cleaning of the property is available as a service on a chargeable basis. All leftover packaging or extra materials post-installation will be kept aside by our team, the disposal of the same would need to be arranged by you.
If customers do not permit adherence to our standard process, or compel us to omit essential steps, including but not limited to quality checks, we hereby declare that we shall not assume responsibility for the outcome, and any warranty applicable to the modular units shall be rendered null and void.
WARRANTY & MAINTENANCE POST INSTALLATION
Our warranty duration based on material selection & warranty terms will be detailed out in the warranty document provided to the customer post project handover. A period of two weeks post-handover (including non-working days), will be considered as a grace period for maintenance requests and will not be charged. Customers can write to care@qarpentri.com to raise any concerns during this two-week period. Post that, all maintenance requests are to be raised at https://qarpentri.wify.co.in/ . Each maintenance request will be charged Rs.750 + taxes as service charges.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
Qarpentri only facilitates financial loans and services. Approval, processing, and terms of the loans and services are at the sole discretion of the financial entity/partner/service provider. As of now, we have two options for customers to avail EMI. A customer can make a credit card payment and get it converted into EMI's from the bank directly. The other option customers have is with ICICI bank PayLater - through this customers can check their eligibility for an EMI with their mobile numbers.

SITE READINESS
To take in delivery of our products and to be able to start the installation without any delays, the customer’s site needs to be ready with the following work completed:
The site is expected to be ready to accept material delivery within 7 days of intimation from our team. In cases where there’s a delay, there would be a weekly demurrage charge of Rs.5,000. This is non-negotiable.
The installation will be done only after the site is ready for installation.
ADDITIONAL SCOPE OF WORK
For all additional work that is not included in the Qarpentri offering, the following options are available. The terms specific to each scenario is listed below.
SITE SERVICES BY DESIGNCAFE
Site Services where chosen and included in the scope of work, will be executed by the site execution team of DesignCafe.
Payment Terms & Process - A project is considered as signed up once a 30% payment is made towards the estimate for both civil work & modular units provided by the team. The final quotation is based on actual measurements at the site and will be finalized after the site validation meeting.
The site validation meeting can be organized only once the 30% advance payment for the project is completed by the customer, and confirmed by the company. It is also mandatory for the site to fulfill the following conditions:
Flooring, and plastering with one coat of paint done
Demolition and new civil constructions finished
The site is debris-free
On providing the final quotation to the customer, a 100% payment towards the entire order, both civil & modular scope of work, would need to be completed for any work to commence. Qarpentri modular units are deemed ready for dispatch after the site work is completed by the DesignCafe team.
Project Timelines for projects that include site services by DesignCafe -
Modular + False ceiling - 30 working days delivery + 7 working days for ready to move in.
Modular + False ceiling + Painting - 30 working days delivery + 7 working days for ready to move in + 7 working days final coat of painting.
For all cities outside Bangalore, the delivery timelines would be extended by 7 working days to account for logistics.

Designs shared with the client at any stage are the exclusive copyright of Qarpentri and GS E-Commerce Pvt Ltd. The designs are shared with the intent that the order for the same is placed and executed by Qarpentri. Any designs shared by Qarpentri cannot be used, installed and/ or shared in any way or form without prior and written consent of Qarpentri.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Qarpentri produces good quality factory-made products and while we take utmost care in the quality check, delivery, and installation, sometimes there could be unforeseen minor damages or errors visible after the product is installed. Despite our best efforts and precautions, errors such as differences in material quality, material deliveries, site works, installer errors, and the like can occur. We commit to fixing such errors at the earliest.
DELAY COMPENSATION
Any delays caused because of the client's vendors, site readiness, payment delays, client selections not completed, delays caused by the builder, delays by the client in accepting quotations, and other delays because of client dependencies in the design service days and/ or because of force majeure conditions will not be considered in the delayed days.
Delay compensation will not be applicable if a client moves into the property and/or if minor snags/works are pending (as decided by the company).
Ready to move-in date - Once the project reaches a stage where installation is completed to an extent where the pending minor snags would not impact the client from moving into the property, that date would be considered as the ‘Ready to move in' date for the project. The ready-to-move-in date determined by our quality team would be final & non-negotiable.
Penalty: In case of ready-to-move-in delays post-design sign-off due to Qarpentri errors, Qarpentri will pay Rs. 20,000 per month on a pro-rata basis for all the days of delay beyond the ready to move in date, and after a grace period of 15 working days. The penalty will not be more than 10% of the project value - the calculation will exclude any site services and add-ons or modifications requested post the project is sent to production.
CUSTOMER ABUSE POLICY
Qarpentri always prides itself on the paramount importance it gives to client service. Company employees/ personnel are trained to treat clients with utmost respect in every interaction. Despite our best efforts, in exceptional mitigating circumstances, like systems’ downtime, last-minute changes, and policy-related issues, our services may be impacted for short durations and it's our duty to reduce and minimize such circumstances to the maximum possible extent.
We request clients be mature in their understanding of the situation and resist resorting to hostile and abusive behavior. In such behavioral circumstances by a client the company reserves its right to take all such steps that may be deemed fit including, discontinuation of the project and/ or initiating legal action of civil and criminal nature.
Our team is available between 10 am - 7 pm, between Tuesday to Sunday. All meetings and discussions are expected to either happen at the site, at our store, or virtually.
CANCELLATION & RETURNS
Orders once confirmed (paid advance for) cannot be canceled. All payments made are non-refundable.
Customers are requested to check the scope of work and all design details in full. Any additional units confirmed after confirming the initial order will be considered as an add-on and will lead to a delay of the original order.
In case of a conflict between the commitment given to the customer by a company representative (through any verbal or written format) and the policies outlined in this document, the terms & conditions document would supersede.
