GSE Commerce warrants the original purchaser of a Qarpentri product against manufacturing defects only and for a limited period of time.
WHAT IS COVERED
Upto 5/10-year warranty on woodwork based on selection & agreement.
For any other product/service (Other than hardware accessories and Plywood/MDF) that is delivered by Qarpentri, the manufacturer/service provider's warranty will apply and will change on a case-to-case basis.
The warranty covers repairs of all the products wherever possible, however, the decision to replace them will be at the sole discretion of GSE Commerce only.
The warranty is only applicable if the customer does not do any external work on the products by an outside agency after purchase. In such a case, the warranty provided by the company will not apply to both plywood and hardware.
This warranty is a structural warranty that covers delamination, edge-band peeling, bubbles in lamination, and borer infection. It also covers any bend more than 8mm, caused due to manufacturing defects and not due to wear and tear.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
The warranty will not be applicable to products exposed to moisture. Rusting of hardware/accessories is excluded from the warranty because it is considered a result of normal wear and tear, environmental conditions, or lack of proper maintenance.
The warranty doesn't cover physical damage to the product including normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts/ accidents.
The warranty does not cover products that get damaged due to inappropriate use or those cleaned using the wrong cleaning methods/ products.
In cases where the laminate needs to be replaced and the selected laminate finish is not available/out of stock, Qarpentri will provide the closest possible match for the same.
Any scratch on the exposed furniture should be visible from a distance of 3 feet. Otherwise, it is considered a minor scratch and won’t be considered in the replacement warranty.
Warranty Terms if Site Services is undertaken by DesignCafe
In the course of undertaking the project, the company is required to provide various materials, equipment, appliances, and goods procured from third-party vendors, distributors, and manufacturers ("Third Party Products"). In connection with this, the company hereby assigns and transfers, to the maximum extent permitted, all warranties provided by the manufacturers and suppliers of the Third Party Products, along with any accompanying operating instructions, to the client. The warranties applicable to the Third Party Products are subject to the terms and conditions set forth by their respective manufacturers and suppliers, and they include the following:

The company shall not be held liable for any warranty coverage or claims pertaining to products or items that are typically excluded from warranty terms as per general industry standards. |
It is hereby clarified that in the event of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions contained herein, and the Third-Party warranties, the Third-Party warranties shall prevail.
This provision states that the Company Explicitly disclaims any warranty, whether express or implied, in relation to the Third Party products and shall not be held liable for any issues or claims arising from them. Consequently, the client's exclusive recourse concerning the Third-Party products lies with the respective third-party vendors and manufacturers.
Please be advised that with respect to any new product and/or service introduced by the company, the Third-Party warranties provided by the respective supplier of the new product and/or the company offering the services shall take precedence.
PROCESS TO RAISE A MAINTENANCE REQUEST
A period of two weeks post-handover (including non-working days), will be considered as a grace period for maintenance requests and will not be charged. Customers can write to care@qarpentri.com to raise any concerns during this two-week period. Post that, all maintenance requests are to be raised at https://qarpentri.wify.co.in/ . Each maintenance request will be charged Rs.750 + taxes as service charges.
